Finite Simple Group (of Order Two) mungkin terdengar aneh untuk dijadikan judul sebuah lagu, tapi kenyataannya memang demikian. Lagunya sendiri aku temukan hari ini ketika sedang mencari-cari lagu cinta mellow untuk menyesuaikan dengan mood yang memang sedang sendu. Eh, tak disangka malah ketemu lagu cinta kocak dengan judul ga biasa ini. Kalimat-kalimat dalam lagu ini yang diturunkan dari istilah-istilah matematika, secara kreatif dirangkai oleh penciptanya menjadi keseluruhan lirik yang sangat menghibur. Tetap khas lagu cinta dengan kalimat berbunga-bunga, tapi lain daripada yang lain. Coba saja dibaca sendiri liriknya, dijamin seenggaknya pasti habis ini senyum-senyum sendiri.

Kok bisa ya, nyiptain lirik kaya gini. Siapa sih pencipta dan penyanyi lagunya? Dari hasil googling, ketahuan lah kalo mereka adalah Klein Four Group (nama grupnya juga berasal dari istilah matematika, pusing ga tuh, hihi), sekumpulan mahasiswa pasca sarjana di departemen matematika Northwestern University. Awalnya mereka cuma iseng, dan membentuk grup akapela ini hanya untuk mengisi acara-acara di departemen mereka. Tapi ternyata lirik lagu mereka yang kocak sangat disukai, dan dengan segera video mereka menjadi video yang paling sering diforward di internet (pada bulan Mei 2005).
